Bitcoin Eyes $94K Rebound as $80K Support Holds

Bitcoin may ascend to $94,000 contingent upon buyers maintaining the $80,000 support level and the price securing a close above its 50-day EMA. Bitcoin may be establishing a local bottom in the vicinity of $80,000, as the range between $79,000 and $81,000 appears to be a significant accumulation zone. According to a well-known crypto analyst, prevailing market conditions indicate that the largest cryptocurrency may rebound from its recent decline and trend toward $94,000. In his latest market update, Doctor Profit stated that Bitcoin’s decline from $88,000 to approximately $80,000 represents a correction within a larger bull market, rather than indicating the onset of a new bear market. The current price range presents a significant support level for larger investors.

Analysis indicates that Bitcoin treasury companies and spot ETF investors have average entry prices in the range of $80,000 to $81,500. This could render the region significant for market stability, as investors may exhibit reduced willingness to sell if prices hover close to their acquisition levels. The analyst also highlighted a resurgence in spot buying near $80,000 and a deceleration in profit-taking activities. He posits that these factors indicate a reduction in selling pressure. While certain short-term holders have persisted in liquidating their positions, he noted that longer-term holders who acquired Bitcoin within the $60,000 to $70,000 range exhibit minimal inclination to divest their assets. This combination of robust demand, diminished selling activity, and ongoing accumulation may indicate that the asset is nearing a local bottom. He also found that the majority of retail traders seem to exhibit a pronounced bearish sentiment at the current price levels.

However, this negative sentiment could facilitate a recovery if the selling pressure starts to diminish and buyers reassert their dominance in the market. Meanwhile, the Crypto Fear and Greed Index is presently at 54. The analyst posits that the index fails to capture the apprehension prevalent among retail traders who have divested amid the recent downturn or are biding their time for more favourable pricing. Meanwhile, seasoned investors who acquired assets at lower price points seem to be maintaining their positions. This difference in market behaviour could indicate that the recent correction may be approaching its conclusion. Doctor Profit anticipates that Bitcoin could approach $94,000 should the market experience a recovery from its present state. He stated that a daily close above the 50-day exponential moving average would indicate a favourable signal.

A similar divide between retail investors and larger holders is becoming evident in exchange flow data. Another market commentator, Darkfost, noted that retail Bitcoin inflows to Binance have surged to a six-month peak, increasing from $5.5 billion to $10.75 billion over a 30-day period. Whale inflows, in contrast, have exhibited a downward trend. Darkfost reports that deposits from large holders have decreased from $5.9 billion at the end of August to $3.8 billion, suggesting that whales are not eager to transfer their Bitcoin to exchanges for potential sale.
